In May, I was invited to a special luncheon hosted by the Chancellor of the University of Toronto, the Honourable Michael H. Wilson, P.C., C.C., B.COM., LL.D.
Mr. Wilson is a Canadian diplomat, politician and business leader. He is a Companion of the Order of Canada and holds honorary degrees from the University of Toronto, Trinity College at the University of Toronto, York University, the University of Calgary, and the Royal Military College of Canada.
In his role of Chancellor of the University of Toronto, he holds luncheon meetings throughout the year, inviting different colleges and faculty members. The purpose is to initiate conversations about the University of Toronto, and how the University can help graduates stay connected.
The meeting I attended included graduates and faculty of New College, University of Toronto, and was held at the Toronto Club.
It was a special opportunity to meet other graduates and speak with the Chancellor, and I would like to thank the organizers for the invitation.
